After a regional food industry event at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT, on Wednesday, September 22, 2009, over 30 members from the Connecticut Laborers' District Council volunteered their time to load over 5 tons of food onto trucks bound for Foodshare, Connecticut's largest food bank.
