INORIO, ANTHONY J. "BUTCH" Anthony J. "Butch" Inorio, 69, of Clinton, CT peacefully entered into rest after a long battle with cancer on December 8, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 26, 1941, son of the late Albert and Nancy Inorio. Though he spent his childhood in New Haven, CT attending and graduating from Clinton Avenue School, Fair Haven Jr. High and Wilbur Cross High School. He served proudly in the United State Army from Oct. 1959 - June 1961. He was a dedicated member of Laborers' International Union Local 455 for 48 years serving as it's Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer for 32 years and was Vice-President of the Connecticut Laborers' District Council. Anthony and his first wife Lucille moved their family from New Haven, CT to Clinton, CT in 1965 where they raised their two children Ralph and Patti. He was a youth football coach for 20 years, coaching the Clinton Vikings and Clinton Condors in the Clinton Touchdown Club. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees, he loved to rub it in to his son Ralph when the Yankees beat the Red Sox. He is survived by his son, Ralph (Sylvia) Inorio of Branford, CT; daughter Patti (Gary Litevich) grandchildren, Jessica, Mikayla and Tyler of Killingworth. His present wife Hermen and her daughter Bonnie (John) Dixon, grandchildren Julia and Ethan of Maryland; her sons, David (Patty) Kaplan; grandchildren Ava, Arianna and Josha, of Wallingford, and Brian Kaplan of Killingworth. Anthony was preceded by his first wife, Lucille, brothers, Ralph and Thomas and sisters, Mary-Ellen and Alisa. A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, December 10 at Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, Clinton. Calling hours from 4 - 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am on Saturday December 11 at St. Mary's Church, Grove Street, Clinton, CT. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made in Anthony's memory to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford CT.
